Myrtle Beach has every sort of hotel accommodation to offer tourists. A tourist can choose a place near the sea, entertainment plaza, shopping malls and restaurants. Alternately, a visitor can choose to stay in resorts in the nearby areas. For instance, the island of Hilton Head offers the richest accommodations in the county. Myrtle Beach is one of the most prominent beaches in the eastern coast of the US. Discounts can also be obtained, with some hotels offering multiple discounts that can be used in restaurants. The best deals can be obtained through schemes such as pay for two nights and stay for three, etc. Oceanfront hotels cost much more than other locations.
In many of the reserved rooms, an advance deposit is required and a percent is forfeited in case of cancellations. Separate reservation charges are applied for golf. The tariff rates during weekends and festivals may be higher.
